ARA (RNI) Former MLA Vijyendra Yadav along with supporters and many other office bearers of the party tendered resignation from the primary membership of the JD(U).
Talking to media persons, Vijyendra Yadav said that he worked with integrity in the party he was in. There is no greed for position. He remained with the alliance continuously and there are no rules and regulations in the party. Criticizing the local MP and NDA candidate from the 32-Ara Parliamentary Constituency, Raj Kumar Singh, he said that he resigned due to dictatorial behaviour. BJP has an alliance with the JD(U) but BJP MPs do not give preference to the JD(U) workers. He stated that he has no complaint against Nitish Kumar and added that no BJP leader went to Nitish Kumar’s rally at Jagdishpur. The BJP government is continuously taking action unilaterally. Starting from Mukhtar Ansari and many other leaders were murdered while on the instigation of the BJP, Brajesh Singh and Vineet Singh are roaming scot free.
The leaders who resigned from the primary membership of the JD(U) along with Vijyendra Yadav are Shashi Kushwaha, Md. Mahmood Ansari, Sushil Kumar Kushwaha, Bhola Gond, Jai Shankar Prasad, Kamleshwar Mishra, Ajay Kumar Singh, Ramsakal Singh Bhojpuriya, Jayant Yadav, Kamal Kishore, Manu Rathore, Roushan Mahato, Rahul Singh, Nagendra Kumar, Anil Kumar, Rahul Chandravanshi and others.
On the other hand, the JD(U) spokesperson Shambhu Prasad Soni said that a number of workers of the party including Vijyendra Yadav were relieved from the party by cancelling the membership of the party. Due to JD(U)’s state leadership, working against the principles of the party and being involved in anti-party activities, the memberships of Vijyendra Yadav and others have been canceled.
