FLORAL TRIBUTES TO BHIM RAO AMBEDKAR
Floral tributes were paid to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 132nd birth anniversary. Leaders of different political parties, teachers, professors and others garlanded the statue of Bhim Rao Ambedkar near Ramana Maidan.
Ara, 14 April 2023, (RNI): Floral tributes were paid to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 132nd birth anniversary. Leaders of different political parties, teachers, professors and others garlanded the statue of Bhim Rao Ambedkar near Ramana Maidan.
Bharat Bhushan Pandey, national president, Jansangh, paying homage to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar said that he was a ture nationalist and championed the cause of empowerment of underprivileged, down trodden and building of egalitarian nationalist society. He was very much close to the founders of the Jansangh Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherji and Prof Balraj Madhok so far as policy was concerned towards Pakistan, Kashmir and religions of other countries and their intellectual friend.
In the morning, hundreds of activists of the Communist Party of India Marxist-Leninist, took out ‘Sadbhavana Yatra’ from their office that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town to mark the occasion and reached near Ramana Maidan where they paid glorious tributes to Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders criticized the Central Government for gnawing at the very edifice of democracy and the Indian constitution made by Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and said they would not let the intention of the government be fulfilled and would launch aggressive agitation against the government. They vowed to follow footsteps of Bhim Rao Ambedkar for allround development of and nation.
