ARA---------------------------On the 13th death anniversary of CPI-ML senior former MLA, Ram Naresh Ram, the CPI-ML town committee celebrated it as ‘Sankalp Diwas’ at Kranti Park, East Nawada Ara. The leaders of the CPI-ML garlanded the portrait of Ram Naresh Ram and also observed two minutes silence.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that Ram Naresh Ram was the architect of anti-feudalism movement in Bhojpur. The poor dreamed of achieving social dignity and political status under his leadership and he continued to lead that dream throughout out his life. When the poor and the down trodden in Bhojpur district did not have the right to sit on a cot, did not even have the right to vote, did not have the right to ask for wages, Ram Naresh Ram championed their causes during that period of crisis and led their fight and today this fight spread like a spark across the country. Ram Naresh Ram, after becoming MLA, set an example of being a high level honest public representative by working as a true public representative.
The leaders further said that today his party played its role in establishing CPI-ML as a revolutionary communist party in the country and it is at the forefront of the struggle against fascism. They said that fascism is at its peak in the country and every effort is being made to destroy the country’s constitution, demolish the edifice of democracy and livelihood. At such a time, had Ram Naresh Ram been there, he would have led this struggle. Therefore, by further intensifying his struggle, a decisive movement against fascism will be launched. They stressed a dire need for this which is going on under the leadership of the party hence taking this movement forward will be a true tribute to him. Dilraj Pritam, town secretary, CPI-ML conducted the meeting.
