One prisoner who had escaped from police custody two days ago, surrendered in the Ara Civil Court. Later he was sent to jail under judicial custody.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Bhojpur police had arrested Bangali Yadav alias Rohit Singh from Gadaha village under Udwantnagar police station in connection with a loot under Sandesh police station area in Bhojpur district and kept him in the Udwantnagar police station. In the morning, he said to make water and a Chowkidar escorted him to the urinal but he slipped and escaped from the police custody. He added that under mounting police pressure, Bajrangi Yadav alias Rohit Singh surrendered in the court. Later he was sent to jail.
