FIVE MINOR CHILDREN FREED, TWO HUMAN TRAFFICERS ARRESTED

SASARAM----------------------------Railway Protection Force (RPF), Sasaram railway station freed five minor girls and boys from the clutches of human traffickers and also arrested two human traffickers. The human traffickers were identified as Sudama Kumar of Natwar village in Rohtas district of Bihar and Ravi Kumar of Rajauli village in Jharkhand.

Inspector, RPF, Sanjeev Kumar said that under the Operation Ahat and Bachpan Bachao Andolan, special checking and inspection were going on at the Sasaram Railway Station. Meanwhile, 12321 UP Mumbai Mail came on platform No 2 and a search operation started in the train. Meanwhile, the police noticed that three minor girls and two minor boys were being taking for human trafficking. On suspicion, the police interrogated Sudama Kumar and Ravi Kumar in this regard. During interrogation, Sudama Kumar told the police that he had brought three girls from Chhatisgarh to dance in an orchestra team and gave Rs. 70,000 in return. On the other hand Ravi Kumar disclosed that he was taking both the minor boys to Maharashtra to make plastic packets and for this he pay Rs. 12000 to Rs. 15000 per month. The Inspector, the police freed all the five minor children from the clutches of human traffickers and also informed the Child Help Line so that they could be handed over to their parents.

On information, members of Child Help Line arrived at the Sasaram Railway Station and the police gave all the five minor children to the Child Help Line so that they could be handed over to the Child Welfare Committee, Sasaram. A named FIR was lodged with the police against both the human traffickers and sent them to jail after interrogation.
