FIVE CYBER FRAUD ARRESTED IN ROHTAS DISTRICT

Sasaram, 21 June 2023, (RNI): On the information of Gujarat police, the Rohtas police attested five cyber criminals from Chuna Bhatti Mor under Dehari town police station in Rohtas district. The arrested cyber criminals were identified as Ankur Kumar alias Sahaj Rathaur son of Rakesh Kumar of Bhedia village under Dehari town police station, Shubham Kumar, Roushan Kumar sons of Sunil Kumar Gupta of Barah Patthar under Dehari town police station in Bihar, Asraf Anasari son of Farooque Ansari and Asfaque son of Abdullah Rahman of Chengadih village of Jamada district in Jharkhand

ASP Subhang Mishra said that the Investigating Officer, ASI P T Baghela on the basis of an FIR lodged with the police under Cyber Crime Police Station Surat Kothi in Gujarat, informed on June 18, 2023 that Rs. 10 lakh was withdrawn from the bank account of complainant of which Rs. 5 lakh was credited in the bank account of Ankur Kumar alias Sahaj Rathaur son of Rakesh Kumar of Bhedia village under Dehari town police station and the money withdrawn from his bank account through the ATM and POSS machine. The ASP stated that the DSP Adil Bilal and other police officials investigated the matter and caught Ankur Kumar. During investigation, Ankur Kumar revealed that Ashfaque and Ashraf Ali had withdrawn Rs. 5 lakh from his bank account and had called him to give commission today in lieu of providing his bank account and they are waiting for him at Chuna Bhattha Mor. The police on the revelation of Ankur Kumar conducted raid at Chuna Bhatta Mor and arrested Shubham Kumar, Roushan Kumar sons of Sunil Kumar Gupta of Barah Patthar locality under Dehari town police station in Rohtas district in Bihar and Ashraf Ali son of Farooque Ansari and Ashfaque son of Abdulla Rahman of Chengadih of Jamtada district in Jharkhand. The arrested miscreants confessed their crime.
