ARA---------------------------Chief Minister, Bihar, Nitish Kumar said that a chain of familyism is going on in Bihar and added that first the father, then the wife now the son and daughter will rule and so stay away from them and let the BJP candidate supported by the NDA Raj Kumar Singh from the32-Ara Parliamentary Constituency and the JD(U) candidate from Agiaw Assembly Constituency Prabhunath Ram win.
Addressing election meetings at Jagdishpur and Gadhani, the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar said that engineering college was constructed and the medical college is being constructed in Ara and the ITI for men and women will be constructed in the sub-division. All the hospitals in Bhojpur district will be modified and Rs. 544 crore has been sanctioned for this. Earlier, 29 patients reached the health centres in a month but now 100 to 150 patients come in a day because all the modern facilities are available here. He said that 10 lakh jobs will be provided in the coming time. He stated that Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister for the third time and development of the country and Bihar is possible only under his leadership. He said that the NDA is going to win all the 40 seats in Bihar and Narendra Modi is becoming the Prime Minister for the third time with more than 400 seats in the country. Taking a dig at the opposition, Nitish Kumar said that they are busy in taking credit for contribution in the Development of Bihar which in fact they are not responsible and so he advised not to get fooled by them.
The Chief Minister said that while being in the government in 2005, he has left no stone unturned in making Bihar a modern State and now in the coming days, more than 10 lakhs youths would be given jobs. He added that he had been with the BJP since 1995 and will continue to do so. Something went wrong in between but now he is not going to anywhere. He further said that people might not remember as to what was there in Bihar about 15 years ago. There were only scams and scams there in Bihar. Castigating Laloo Prasad and Tezaswi Yadav, he said that they do no work but to give birth to nine children. When the father was removed from the chair, he made his wife sit on the chair of the Chief Minister and now he is busy in making his son the Chief Minister. He added that he realized the conspiracy and came to his old friend. He appealed to the people to remember the old things and said not to bring such people who want to lead Bihar the way it was before 2005 where people did not dare to come out their houses after evening. There were so much disputes in the society and there used to be Hindu-Muslim riots every day. There used to be so much controversy. Roads, electricity, education and health services were at their nadir and when he formed the government with the BJP in November 2005, he got the work done on a large scale in the fields of roads, electricity, education and health, drinking water and toilets in every house. Every village was connected with roads. Doctors and medicines and pathological facilities were made available in hospitals. His government is giving incentive amount of Rs. 25,000 to the students on passing Intermediate and Rs. 50,000 on passing of Graduation.
Commenting on law and order situation in Bihar, Nitish Kumar said that earlier, women did not dare to come out of their houses due to atmosphere of fear but his government had done better work for women empowerment which is being appreciated in the entire country. In 2006 panchayat election and also in 2007 in municipal elections, his government together with the BJP gave 50 percent reservation to women. Earlier there were very few women in Self Help Group (SHG) in Bihar but his government expanded it and the result of which is that the number of the SHGs in Bihar alone is 10.51 lakh in which over 1 crore 31 lakh women are involved. He added that his government formed Jivika which is doing commendable work in Bihar. The Chief Minister appealed to make the NDA candidates win with more votes than before.
