FIRING AT THE HOUSE OF MUKHIA

Sasaram, 7 July 2023, (RNI): Tension prevails in and around the Baraw village under Nokah police station in Rohtas district after some armed miscreants fired at the house of the North Baraw Mukhia Hina Devi though untoward incident took place. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Nokha police station against two persons Dharmraj Paswan and Jai Prakash Mukhia in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
The Mukhia Hina Devi said that Dharmraj Paswan and Jai Prakash Mukhia of Baraw village were quarrelling and also using choicest words outside her house. When her husband objected, they started firing at the house. The situation came under control after the police came on information.
SHO Nokha police station Umesh Kumar said that named FIR has been lodged against two persons and the police are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, president, Mukhia Union cum Mukhia Hakini Panchayat Daya Singh gave a memorandum to the SHO Nokha police station and demanded arrest of miscreants within 24 hours.
