FIR FOR VIOLATION OF MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT

ARA (RNI) A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Shahpur police station against eight persons on the written petition of Executive Officer, Shahpur panchayt Neshat Alam in connection with violation of model code of conduct. The FIR was lodged against Harendra Pandit, Ram Jee Turaha, Radha Krishna Tatwa, Laxman Keshari, Guddu Rajak, Buwar, Krishnan Pandit, Rajendra Pandit of Shahpur under the same police station in Bhojpur district.

Neshat Alam, in his written petition to the police said that he got information that the above mentioned persons were installing hand pump on the government land near Raju Fruit Shop on NH-84 main road under Shahpur Town Panchayat under Shahpur police station without permission from the concerned authority when the model code of conduct is in force in view of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 and this is sheer violation of the provisions of model code of conduct. He directed the Junior Engineer and Principal Assistant to inquire into the matter. They submitted their inquiry report and he lodged a named FIR on the basis of the inquiry report.
