FIR FOR THREATENING JD(U) STATE GENERAL SECRETARY

ARA (RNI) A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Piro police station in connection with threatening the State General Secretary, JD(U), Manoj Upadhayaya.

In the FIR, Manoj Upadhayaya said that Piro Nagar Parishad has proposed to the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar at Piro but the named persons wanted to construct shops at the spot forcibly and they also used vulgar words and threatened him with dire consequences. The named accused posted some vulgar words on the facebook and also threatened Manoj Upadhayaya with dire consequences. He also expressed his fear of murder and said that the named accused are of criminal mentality and they were named in criminal cases like murder and loot earlier. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action.

A tension was going on with the named accused regarding a dispute over construction of shops at the disputed site. After the intervention of Legislative Councilor Neeraj Kumar regarding the dispute arising in the case of construction of a shop on the Municipal Council land, the District Magistrate ordered the SHO, Piro police station to take preventive action and after which the controversy is deepen.
