FIR AGAINST THREE GIRL EXAMINEES IN CASE OF ASSAULT ON A LADY INVIGILATOR
A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Nawada police station against three girl examinees of PG Semester III at the Maharaja College Centre on the written petition of the Principal of the college, Dr. Alok Kumar in connection with assaulting a lady invigilator merely for preventing the examinees from cheating in the examination. The FIR No. 666/24 was lodged against Anshi Kumari, Rashmi Kumari and Beauty Kumari under different section of the IPC. After institution of FIR, police are investigating the matter and seized their mobile being used in the examination hall for cheating.
ARA (RNI) A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Nawada police station against three girl examinees of PG Semester III at the Maharaja College Centre on the written petition of the Principal of the college, Dr. Alok Kumar in connection with assaulting a lady invigilator merely for preventing the examinees from cheating in the examination. The FIR No. 666/24 was lodged against Anshi Kumari, Rashmi Kumari and Beauty Kumari under different section of the IPC. In the examination hall No 7 at Maharaja college centre, the lady invigilator Shuchi Sneha prevented the girl examinees of PG Semester III from cheating with the mobiles. At this the examinees became furious. They misbehaved with the invigilator, abused. They threw the invigilator out of the examination hall, slammed her on the stairs badly and thrashed her. After which blood also came out from her eyes. Dr. Shuchi Sneha complained the Principal of the college, Dr Alok Kumar in writing about the incident. On her written complained, the Principal lodged a named FIR against three girl examinees with the police under Nawada police station.
It may be mentioned here that preventing the students from cheating in the examination at Maharaja College centre took a heavy toll on a female invigilator. On being prevented from cheating in the examination, the girl examinees got enraged and created a ruckus at the examination centre and also beat up the femal invigilator injuring her at many places including her eyes. Senior officials of the Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU) including the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi and the Registrar rushed to the spot and knew about the incident. The VC debarred three girl examinees made accused in the FIR to appear at the examination for four years.
Veer Kuer Sing University (VKSU) has organized examination for the third Semester of Post Graduate for the academic session 2022-2024 and seven examination centres were made in Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur district. Altogether 5000 examinees appeared at the examination that started from September 9, 2024. The PG third semester examination will continue from September 9 to September 14 in two sittings.
As the examination started, the female invigilator warned the girl examinees at the Maharaja College centre and forbade them to cheat. At this all the girl examinees became agitated and created pandemonium at the examination centre and also thrashed the lady invigilator badly in which her eye was badly injured. The lady invigilator complained the Principal of the college and lodged a named FIR with the police under Nawada police station three girl examinees. The VC, VKSU Prof. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi debarred all the examinees at the Maharaja College centre for the three years.
On the other hand, the girl examinees blamed that the lady invigilator misbehaved with them and also beat them up. The police are investigating the matter.
