FIR AGAINST THE WARD MEMBER AND WARD SECRETARY FOR EMBEZZLEMENT OF GOVERNMENT FUND
Badahara Block Panchayati Raj Officer (BPRO) lodged a named FIR with the police under Krishnagarh police station against the Ward Member and Ward Secretary, Badahara block in connection with embezzlement of about Rs. 32.12 lakh meant for the ambitious programme of seven resolution of the Chief Minister. After institution of FIR the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest them.
Ara (RNI) Badahara Block Panchayati Raj Officer (BPRO) lodged a named FIR with the police under Krishnagarh police station against the Ward Member and Ward Secretary, Badahara block in connection with embezzlement of about Rs. 32.12 lakh meant for the ambitious programme of seven resolution of the Chief Minister. After institution of FIR the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest them.
The BPRO said that Ward Member Bharat Ram and the Ward Secretary Pintu Singh of Hetampur village under Krishnagarh police station withdrew the amounts from the bank and embezzled them for the financial years of 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021meant for the development and construction of road, drains in the village of the panchayat but no work was done which is a crime. He said in the FIR to recover the embezzled amounts and take action against both the persons.
It may be said that Sonu Sharma of Hetampur village complained in the year 2023 against the Ward Member and the Ward Secretary for embezzlement of funds meant for the development of the village. He also registered complaint in the District Public Grievances Cell. After inquiry the Public Grievance Redressal Officer found the complaint of embezzlement of fund by the Ward Member and the Ward Secretary correct and wrote the BPRO to lodge a named FIR against the Ward Member and the Ward Secretary within 48 hours. He also wrote for the recovery of the fund and legal action against them.
SHO Krishnagarh police station Pawan Kumar said that after getting instruction from the officers, the named persons would be arrested on the basis of lodged FIR.
