FIR AGAINST SIX INCLUDING THE MANAGER OF THE TOLL PLAZA FOR THE MURDER OF SUPERVISOR

Ara, 21 June 2023, (RNI): An FIR has been lodged with the police under Koelwar police station against six named and five unnamed persons in connection with murder of a Supervisor of the Toll Plaza Balvant Singh 34 son of Surya Narayan Singh of Manakpur village under Katara Bazaar police station in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh on the statement of Jagarnath Singh, uncle of the deceased. The named FIR was lodged against the Ranchhod Infra Developers PVT Company Tolla Plaza at Kuylharia Manager, Abhimanyu Sharma, Sunil Jakhar, Sumit  and Vikram Kaushik of Haryana, Gyanendra Singh and Sagar of Uttar Pradesh and five unnamed persons. All the named and unnamed persons are absconding since the incident.

Jagarnath Singh said that his nephew was the most meek persons in his village and if the murders came before him, he would kill them. He said if he was a thief, he should be handed over to police and questioned if anyone killed a person merely for Rs. 50. His nephew was not a thief. He demanded the government to arrest all the miscreants and sent them to jail so that he could get justice.

Balvant Singh was posted on the post of Supervisor at Sultanpur Toll Plaza in Uttar Pradesh. After 35 days, he was transferred to Kulharia Toll Plaza of the company in Bhojpur district in Bihar. After some days on duty at the Toll Plaza at Kulharia in Bhojpur district, the bouncers and other employees of the company stated needling him. They accused of theft. The employees of the company on June 17, 2023 called him to the roof of a hotel from the Toll Plaza under well planned conspiracy where the manager, bouncers and other employees thrashed him to death and dropped him in the bogie of a train bound to Gonda in unconscious stage. Balwant Singh reached Gonda in unconscious stage and the co-passengers informed the police. The rail police at Gonda admitted him to the hospital and informed the family members. Balwant Singh named the culprits at the hospital and after some time he succumbed to his injuries.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav sauid that viral video showed that Balwant Was being beaten for stealing Rs. 50 and he died. The SP said that on the basis of viral video, all the culprits are being identified and the police are conducting raids to arrest them as the all the culprits including the manager are absconding. He said that no one would be spared at any cost.
