FIR AGAINST LIQUOR SMUGGLERS
An FIR against 40 named and 150 unnamed persons has been lodged with the police under Dhobaha police outpost in Bhojpur district in connection with attack on police force at Lal Bazaar of Agarsanda village under Dhobaha police outpost in the late evening on March 26, 2023 when the police had gone there to arrest sand mafias.
Ara, 28 March 2023, (RNI): An FIR against 40 named and 150 unnamed persons has been lodged with the police under Dhobaha police outpost in Bhojpur district in connection with attack on police force at Lal Bazaar of Agarsanda village under Dhobaha police outpost in the late evening on March 26, 2023 when the police had gone there to arrest sand mafias. The police also arrested one of the named accused Chhote Lal of Lal Bazaar in this regard while conducting raids to arrest the rest named and unnamed accused.
It may be mentioned here that Bhojpur police, on confidential information, had gone to Lal Bazaar at Agarsanda village under Dhobaha police station to arrest liquor smugglers and also arrested four liquor smugglers in the late evening on March 26, 2023. Meanwhile, villagers and other liquor smugglers attacked the police force with traditional weapons and also pelted with stones on them also forced the police to retreat. The villagers freed the arrested liquor smugglers and also damaged police vehicle.
