FIR AGAINST EIGHT FOR MURDER

Ara, 16 May 2023, (RNI): An FIR has been lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station against eight named and four unnamed persons in connection with murder of husband of a Mukhia, western Gundi village under Krishnagarh police station on the statement of Vikas Kumar Yadav son of the deceased. Former Mukhia Anshu Upadhyaya alias Siddarth Priyadarshi, Dhan Jee Yadav son of Jagdish Yadav, Tez Pratap Yadav son of Jagdish Yadav, Lala Yadavb son of Surendra Yadav, Tanishk Upadhayaya son of Anshu Upadhayay, Sabhapati Yadav son of Jagdish Yadav, Jagdish Yadav and Meghnath Yadav son of late Rajendra YadavS of Babhangawa village under Krishnagarh police station are made named accused in the FIR. One of the named accused is languishing in the Ara jail. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. After institution of FIR, the Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav formed a police team under the ASP Chnadra Prakash and the police is conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. 

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Krishnagarh police station said that Amaravati Devi had successfully contested election for the post of Mukhia in the year 2021 defeating the former Mukhia Anshu Upadhayaya alias Siddarth Upadhayay. Since Anshu Upadhayaya along with the named accused in the FIR targeted the family of Amaravati Devi. The Mukhia, western Gundi, was shot at and injured in the year 2022 though was rescued at that time. Anshu Upadhyaya had made available arms and ammunition while Tez Pratap Yadav always threatened the whole family of the deceased with dire consequences during trial of the case. Anshu Upadhayaya prior to the election, threatened not to contest election.

Mikhia, Western Gundi panchayat under Krishnagarh police station of Barahara block Amaravati Devi’s husband Mahendra Yadav alias Munna Yadav 45 and son of Ram Prasad Yadav of Babhangawa village had gone to the Krishnagarh police station for mediation in a case where the miscreants recced and when he was returning on his motorcycle, the miscreants shot at on his back. Despite Munna Yadav tried to escape but on the way his motorcycle collided with a bicycle and he fell to the ground at Saraiya Bazaar under Krishnagarh police station. The miscreants, who were chasing him, came and pumped four bullets into his head and killed him on spot.  

Vikas Kumar Yadav son of the deceased said that his father had gone to the Krishnagarh police station and he went to his cement shop to open in the morning. When his father did not come till schedule time, he went there to collect him where he saw that Lala Yadav and Meghnath Yadav were stnding at the Gundi Mor while Jagdish Yadav and his son Sabhapati Yadav were standing near Itahana Mor. All the four were doing the work of liners. He further said that Anshu Upadhayaya along with his son Tanishq Yadav had taken shelter behind a shop. As his father came on his motorcycle, Anshu Upadhayaya along with his son came out of his hide out and shot at his father and his father fell to the ground. At the same time Dhanjee Yadav along with a youth came and at the instigation of Anshu Upadhayaya pumped bullets into his father’s head and killed him on spot.
