FIR AGAINST DOCTOR AFTER DEATH OF A WOMAN DURING TREATMENT

A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Piro police station against a doctor of a private clinic in connection with death of woman during treatment.

Seema Devi wife of an army man Anand Kumar of Lahthan village was admitted to a private nursing home at Piro after she complained delivery pain where she underwent a caesarian operation and delivered a baby but she died immediately after the delivery. After the death the family members went on rampage at the nursing home though the doctor and other paramedical staffs of the hospital locked and escaped from the scene after the death. The father-in-law of the deceased Baban Ram blamed doctor and other paramedical staffs for dereliction of duty and extorting money after the death and lodged a named FIR with the police under Piro police station. After institution of FIR, the police started investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused.
