FIR AGAINST BSP WORKER FOR VIOLATION OF MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT IN BUXAR DISTRICT
Flying squad team under the Circle Officer Dr. Shobha Kumari, while vising to ensure execution of provisions of model code of conduct in view of the forthcoming Parliamentary Election in the district found an activist of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) distributing photo calendars of the BSP candidate to woo the voters in his favour near Jamauli road and seized 14 such calendars from him and also arrested him in connection with violation of provisions of the model code of conduct.
BUXAR (RNI) Flying squad team under the Circle Officer Dr. Shobha Kumari, while vising to ensure execution of provisions of model code of conduct in view of the forthcoming Parliamentary Election in the district found an activist of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) distributing photo calendars of the BSP candidate to woo the voters in his favour near Jamauli road and seized 14 such calendars from him and also arrested him in connection with violation of provisions of the model code of conduct. The arrested BSP activist was identified as Bimlesh Kumar of Jamauli village of Rajpur block in Buxar district.
SHO Rajpur police station Santosh Kumar said that a named FIR has been lodged on the written petition of the CO against Bimlesh Kumar. Later he was released after serving notice and filling of bond under the section of criminal procedure. The SHO appealed that no person should violate the model code of conduct and asks for vote in the favour of their candidates by following the rules.
