FIR AGAINST 13 PERSONS IN DOUBLE MURDER CASE

ARA (RNI) A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district in connection with double murder at Raghunipur village under Udwantnagar police station in the statement of Rinku Devi, dauthter-in-law of one of the deceased. The named persons in the FIR have been accused of kidnapping and murder of three people in the past. In the written petition, Rinku Devi named Vinod Yadav, Dharmendra Yadav, Chandrama Yadav, Chaman Yadav, Aman Yadav, Nitish Yadav, Judge Yadav, Suresh Yadav, Sharma Yadav, Ranjeet Yadav, Veer Bahadur Yadav, Manish Yadav and Tez Bahadur Yadav in the FIR blaming that these miscreants her father-in-law Ramadhar Yadav, brothers-in-law Mukesh Yadav, Jagesh Yadav, Mahendra Yadav and sister-in-law Baby Devi were harvesting crops in the field at Raghunipur village under Udwantnagar police station in the morning on April 2, 2024 when the named accused laced with firearms arrived at the field and started firing indiscriminately. All the persons tried to escape from the scene but the named accused chased and pumped four bullets into the body of Ramadhar Yadav and two bullets into the body of Mukesh Yadav though others somehow escaped. She also blamed that in the past Ram Sewak Yadav and Santosh Yadav were kidnapped and killed and an FIR No. 230/09 was lodged with the police in this regard and another Sarita Devi was also killed and an FIR No 213/09 was also lodged. In both the incidents, Binod Yadav, Tez Bahadur Yadav, Veer Bahadur Yadav, Dharmendra Yadav and other named persons were made accused.
The police lodged another FIR under Udwantnagar police station in this double murder case. The SHO Udwantnagar police station Ram Kalyan Yadav lodged second FIR No 130/24 in which he said that the Chowkidar informed him on mobile at about 7.40am on April 2, 2024 regarding murder of two persons, Ramadhar Yadav and his son Mukesh Yadav at Raghunipur village under Udwantnagar police station and later the miscreants escaped towards Belaur village. He at once apprised the Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav of the incident and asked for help of DIU. The police along with DIU team gheraoed the miscreants in between Darshan Chhapara and outskirt of Eastern Belaur villages. Seeing the police the miscreants started firing and despite forbidding them, they continued firing. At last the police had to retaliate in the same manner in self-defense in which Binod Yadav and Judge Yadav were injured while their third aide succeeded in fleeing from the scene. The police recovered a double barrel regular gun and six live cartridges from Binod Yadav and one regular rifle and 25 live cartridges from Judge Yadav.
