FINE OF Rs. 25000 IMPOSED ON MINOR MOTORCYCLE DRIVER IN ARA

ARA (RNI) A fine of Rs. 25000 was imposed on the minor motorcycle drivers who were found driving the motorcycle at high speed and with a wave cut. The fine was imposed on the basis of the report of the Station House Officer (SHO) Ara Nawada police station.

Hundreds of minor youths are driving the three-wheeler auto-rickshaws and even four-wheelers at high speed and also with wave cut or in zig-zag manner on the road in Bhojpur district right under the nose of the police administration with impunity without caring for the lives of others. The reckless driving cause frequent accidents and also claim lives of several people alomost daily. They even drive the vehicle with registration number and they are involved in charging fares from the passengers on their sweet will.

But now the minor motorcycle drivers are on police radar ignoring the rules of the road. The police are bent upon not to show any mercy for them. The police have geared up to take action against the minor drivers who drive motorcycles on the roads at high speed and with a wave cut or in zig-zag manner. To execute the plan, the police caught a minor biker driving the motorcycle at high speed and with a wave cut on the basis of the report of the SHO Nawada Police station and imposed a fine of Rs. 25000 on him. The action causes ripple in the driver circle.

The Bhojpur police appealed to the residents of the district not to allow their minor children to drive vehicles as it is against the motor vehicle Act otherwise legal action will be taken against them. It may be said that a few days ago, a minor bike rider was also fined Rs. 25000.

Despite the police action, the minors are seen driving vehicles on the road and that to on high speed and with wave cut. They pass through the police stations fearlessly and the police officers are also seen watching them without caring for it.
