FACEBOOK PAGE OF THE BHOJPURI DEPARTMENT OF THE VKSU HACKED

Ara (RNI) The Facebook page of the Bhojpuri Department, Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSI) is hacked by the cyber criminals for the last one month but the VKSU administration is sitting idle and is indifferent to take any action in this regard so far.  

The students are facing a lot of problems. Whenever they open the Facebook page to see the study related guidelines issued by their department including the status of filling the study, admission, filling of examination forms, they are countered with obscene pictures instead of desired information. The aggrieved students stopped visiting the site and due to which the prestige of the VKSU and the Bhojpur department as well is at stake. Surprisingly, the VKSU has not lodged an FIR so far in this regard. The reason is best known to the VKSU administration.

Bhojpuri Post Graduate Department operates a Facebook page to provide information to students in a convenient manner and to give them excellent information related to Bhojpuri department. Provision has been made to provide information about admission and conduct of classes through the Facebook page but at present the said page is hacked for the last one month.

The Bhojpuri Department says that someone has hacked the Facebook page of the department and so the concerned company has been contacted regarding this whereas is such cases, under the legal provision, first of all an FIR is to be lodged with the police under concerned police station. After which the cyber cell of the police department take information about the person who hacked and also gives instructions to the company and asks for the desired information. After that, action is taken against the hacker but till now this has not been done. The reluctance raises doubts on the working of the Bhojpuri department and put a big question of the efficacy of the VKSU.  

Vice Chancellor, VKSU, Dr. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi said that this is a serious matter and absolutely undesirable. It was not in his knowledge. He will get the matter investigated and appropriate action will be taken.
