12 years is considered an era when long lines of development are drawn but even after 15 years have passed since the establishment of the Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC), several development works cannot not completed so far. The main responsibility of the AMC is cleaning the town but it failed even in this regard so far and the situation is such that the AMC could not manage the drains of the town in a better way even in the last 15 years and today the residents of the town have to face a lot of problems due to blockage of those drains.

ARA------------------------12 years is considered an era when long lines of development are drawn but even after 15 years have passed since the establishment of the Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC), several development works cannot not completed so far. The main responsibility of the AMC is cleaning the town but it failed even in this regard so far and the situation is such that the AMC could not manage the drains of the town in a better way even in the last 15 years and today the residents of the town have to face a lot of problems due to blockage of those drains.
People are in trouble as water clogged drains at Chandawa Mor. All efforts of the AMC to clean the drains are in vain. Whatever technology the AMC has, has been tried but till now the drain has not been cleaned and water is not flowing through it and it liters on the road instead and the pedestrians are forced to pass through this drain water. The drain at Chandawa Mor crosses the National Highway. Every day thousands of all kinds of vehicles from two wheelers to 16 wheelers trucks and buses pass through this road, yet the AMC did not pay attention and instead of installing RCC drains, the AMC installed cemented pipes. Not only this. a similar thin drain has been installed in front of it due to which the drain is getting blocked again and again, water is coming out and the residents of the area are facing a log of problems.
Sometimes water flows even on the road due to this the road breaks. A lot of money is spent in repairing it. Despite, a wide RCC drain is not being built on it and people are a harried lot.
Even after 15 years, the AMC could not equip it with latest technology. A new electric machine can be purchased while crores of rupees are the income of the AMC and spent in the name of cleanliness.
Cleaning of roads and drains is the main work of the
Municipal Commissioner, AMC Neeroj Kumar Bhagat said that the drains will be cleaned at any cost and whatever blockage is there will be removed. Cleaning the drains is an important task of the AMC and more resources will be collected for it.
