BUXAR--------------------------Father of a teenage girl of a village under Navanagar police station in Buxar district was thrashed badly and was injured when he complained about teasing his daughter. He was admitted to a private nursing home in Patna where his condition is stated to be critical. An FIR was lodged with the police under Navanagar police station against the eve-teaser and his family members on the statement of the father of the girl. The police reached the spot and arrested five persons in this regard and sent them to jail after interrogation.
SHO Navanagar police station Rajeev Ranjan Rai said that a youth of a village under Navanagar police station teased and mugged a teenage girl of the village. When the girl narrated her woes to her father and the family members, they complained about the incident to the father and other family members of the youth. At this they became furious and made a murderous attempt on girl’s father and when he fell unconscious, they left him for dead. The local rushed the injured to the local Health Centre but the doctor referred him to the Ara Sadar Hospital when the doctor also referred him to Patna in precarious condition.
