ARA----------------------------An elderly person was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Gajrajganj Bazaar under the Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district in the late night. The deceased was identified as Nand Kumar Singh alias Fakkar Singh husband of Panchayat Samiti Member, Chhotaki Sasaram, Meera Devi. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Nand Kumar Singh alias Fakkad Singh had gone to Bakhorapur under Badahara police station to attend a marriage ceremony. When he was returning at about 10pm, he was a tree fallen on the road. When he went near the tree, he was blinded by the light of the vehicle coming from the front. Meanwhile, a speeding vehicle hit him from behind and killed him on spot.
