ELDERLY PERSON FELL INTO A VILLAGE WELL, DIED

Ara (RNI) An elderly person fell into a well and died at Chaki Par village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district when he was going to field in the village to attend call of nature. The deceased was identified as Jagdish Rawani 56 son of late Hridyanand Ram of Barisawan village Ward No 12 under Shahpur police station. He was a labour and worked in a factory in Hyderabad. Later the police took out the body from the well and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Kamlesh brother of the deceased said that his brother Jagdish Rawani had returned from Hyderabad about four year ago as he had broken his leg and since he was living in the village and worked here. In the late night, after taking meal, he went to the village field to attend call of nature when other family members had gone to sleep but he fell into the well situated at some distance from the house as he could not see it due to dense fog and died. In the morning, the family members did not find him and searched for him everywhere and later they find him in well nearby dead. They informed the police regarding the incident. The police came and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
