ELDER BROTHER SHOT AT AND INJURED HIS YOUNGER BROTHER

Ara, 26 March 2023, (RNI): Elder brother shot at and injured his younger brother at Gandhi Nagar locality under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district. The injured was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital. The family members took the injured to a private nursing home instead where the doctor operated on him and took out bullet. A named FIR was lodged with the police against three persons and arrested one of them. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the rest two named accused in this regard.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Yamuna Singh of Gandhi Nagar under Ara Nawada police station had three sons, Satyendra Singh, Jitendra Singh and Sumit Singh. He had seven katha of land at Dharahara locality under Ara town police station where Jitendra Singh worked and lived in a hut there. Meanwhile, to remove tin shade from the hut, Jitendra Singh had a tiff with his elder brother Satyendra Singh. Later furious Satyendra Singh shot at and injured his younger brother Jitendra Singh with his rifle and escaped from the scene.
