ARA-----------------------------Brother shot dead his own brother at Gadhani Bazaar under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Aiyakat Ali of Badodara village under Gadhani police station and his elder brother Aziz Mian was a teacher in Urdu School. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Charpokhari police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident6.
SHO Charpokhari police stationn said that Aziz Mian and Liyakat Ali of Badora village under Gadhani police station had come to Gadhani to their sister to participate in a marriage ceremony. After the marriage ceremony was solemnized, both brothers went to a mosque nearby for offering nawaz and returned home. They confined themselves in a room started discussing over land and property. The discussion took an ugly turn. Aziz Mian pumped three bullets into the body of his younger brother Liyakat Ali from his double barrel gun and killed. Aziz Mian did not escape from the scene. Hearing the gun shot, the family members rushed to the spot and were shocked. They informed the police. On information, the police came and arrested Aziz Mian.
