ELABORATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE GAYA GRADUATE AND TEACHERS CONSTITUENCY ELECTIONS
Elaborate arrangements have been made for the conduct of free, fair and peaceful Gaya Graduate and Gaya Teachers Constituencies election in Bhojpur district. The election is scheduled to be held on March 31, 2023 from 8am to 4pm at 19 polling booths in Bhojpur district made under the instruction of Election Commission of which 15 polling booths are main booths while 4 are helping booths for the Gaya Graduate Constituency while for the Gaya Teachers Constituency, 15 polling booths are made in Bhojpur district. Altogether 18157 including 3659 lady voters will exercise their franchise for the Gaya Graduate Constituency while for the Gaya Teachers Constituency, 2873 voters will cast their votes. The counting will be held on April 5, 2023at Gaya College Gaya from 8 am onwards.

Special Work Officer (confidential) Satya Prakash and District Deputy Election Officer, Anil Kumar Rai briefed the polling parties in detail and apprised them that the voters would be allowed to cast their votes by showing nine identity proves such as Adhar Cards, Driving Licenses, PAN Cards, Indian Passports, Identity cards with photographs issued by the Central and State government to their employees, identity cards with photographs issued by the MLAs, MPs and MLCs, original certificates and Diploma issued by the universities and service Identity cards issued by the educational institutions.
