EFFIGY OF BIHAR CM BURNT
Hundreds of activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took out a procession from the government bus stand near Ara railway station today that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at the Tribhuwani tri-junction where they brunt the effigy of the Chief Minister, Bihar Nitish Kumar.
Ara, 9 June 2023, (RNI): Hundreds of activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took out a procession from the government bus stand near Ara railway station today that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at the Tribhuwani tri-junction where they brunt the effigy of the Chief Minister, Bihar Nitish Kumar. The procession was taken out in protest against collapse of under-construction Bridge on the river Ganga at Bhagalpur.
Speaking on the occasion the leaders criticized the Bihar government and said that the government is neck deep in corruption and the collapse of the Bridge is a glaring example of corruption. They added that this government should take moral responsibility and resigned otherwise people would teach a lesson in the next assembly election.
