DRIVER KILLED, CO-DRIVER INJURED
One person was killed while another injured when their vehicle dashed a parked truck Ghatav ROB under Kudara police station on NH-2 in Kaimur district.
Bhabhua, 28 May 2023, (RNI): One person was killed while another injured when their vehicle dashed a parked truck Ghatav ROB under Kudara police station on NH-2 in Kaimur district. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The local admitted the injured in the private nursing home. The deceased was identified as Rahat Khan of Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and the injured was identified as Rahman Ali.
An eyewitness rickshaw puller Pramod Kumar Kesari said that a speeding truck dashed a truck parked on roadside from behind near Ghatav Road Over Bridge under Kudara police station on NH-2 in Kaimur district. He and others went to the spot and saw two persons were trapped. The locals somehow took out the driver Rahat Ali and the co-driver Rahman Ali from the truck and rushed them to a private clinic at Pusaili but the doctor referred the driver Rahat Ali to Mohania in precarious condition but he succumbed to his injuries on way to Mohania.
The Co-driver Rahman Ali said that they were going to Katak in Orissa with a truck loaded with wheat but they slept in the truck and their truck collided with a truck parked on the road near ROB.
