DREADED CRIMINAL ARRESTED WITH FIREARMS

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a dreaded criminal from Bihia Hospital Road under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district and sent him to jail after interrogation. The miscreant was identified as Dani Yadav.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj, in a press release said that Dani Yadav is a resident of Bihia Hospital Road Ward No. 3 and an FIR was pending with the police against him under Arms Act. He said that he was arrested in the year 2020 after he was injured in an encounter and had been in jail for a long time but later he was bailed out.

The SP further said that Dani Yadav was absconding in two cases at the time of arrest. He said that after he was bailed out, he once again engaged in criminal activities. On information, the SHO Bihia police station Aditya Kumar along with police force conducted raid at Bihia Hospital Road and arrested Dani Yadav with a country made pistol, two live cartridges. He said that Dani Yadav entered the criminal world in the year 2008 and since he was active. He stated that at least 22 criminal cases are pending with the police only under Bihia police station.

In the press release, the SP stated that two criminal cases were lodged with the police under Bihia police station in March 2025 regarding threatening and extortion. The SP said that with the arrest of Dani Yadav, police will be able to check criminal activities in Bhojpur district and added that the police are trying to know the network of Dani Yadav.
