Doctors paralyzed Out Door Patient (OPD) and even emergency service at the Ara Sadar Hospital today in protest against attack on doctors by the patients and their family members and demanded security for themselves. As a result, hundreds of patients are harried lot and they had to return with wry face without treatment.

Reportedly, family members of a patient had beat up a doctor on emergency duty in the late evening on February 16, 2023. In protest, the doctors paralyzed OPD and emergency services at Ara Sadar Hospital today and demanded security for themselves. The doctors said that they were performing their duties honestly but family members and others attacked and thrashed them frequently whenever some untoward happened to the patients.
