DJ OWNER BEATEN TO DEATH IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA (RNI) One Disk Jockey owner was beaten to death at Shobhi Dumara village under Ara Muffassil police station in the morning. The deceased was identified as Neeraj Kumar son of Harendra Kumar of Shobhi Dumara village. Irate villagers blocked the Ara-Sinha main road near Shobhi Dumaara village with the body of the deceased. They burnt tyres on the road and paralyzed movement of vehicles for about an hour. They were demanding arrest of the miscreants and compensation for the family of the deceased. ASP Parichay Kumar along with police force rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has also been requisitioned. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of the police officials. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Villagers said that a function was going on in the house of Sonu Mahato at Shobhi Dumara in the late night and professional dancers were performing their programme at the stage and Neeraj Kumar had set his DJ there. When he did not return home till 3am, his family members searched for his. His mobile was also switched off. Later the police recovered his body from a field in the village.

Meera Kumar, mother of the deceased said that his son was dancing on the stage with the dancers and he danced till 3am. The family members thought that he might have slept but his body was found from a field. The family members showed ignorance with enmity with anyone.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that Neeraj Kumar ran a DJ centre at Shobhi Dumara village under Ara Muffassil police station. He said that the murder seemed to take place over a dispute for food. He added that police are investigating the matter and a team of FSL has also been requisitioned.
