Rakshabandhan Sutra programme was organized in the Post Graduate Psychology Department of Veer Kuer Singh University. A number of students of the department participated in it enthusiastically. Prof. Latika Verma, Head of the Department presided over the meeting.

ARA----------------------------Rakshabandhan Sutra programme was organized in the Post Graduate Psychology Department of Veer Kuer Singh University. A number of students of the department participated in it enthusiastically. Prof. Latika Verma, Head of the Department presided over the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Latika Verma said that Rakshasutra Bandhan was organized to save trees and plants. She said that if there are trees and plants, there is the environment and if there is environment, there are our festivals and we also sustain. Therefore, all of us together took a pledge to protect and take care of trees and plants by tying Rakshasutra for environmental protection and also vowed to make more and more people aware of environment and motivated to protect trees so that greenery can be seen around us and people must plant at least one plant in their life and take care of it till it grows because one plant is equal to ten sons. She further said that this small step will be a commendable step for environmental protection. Environment lover Shivam Kumar formed a team and tied a defense thread in the courtyard of the Veer Kuer Singh University. To save trees and plants, people were also motivated to increase their awareness and conserve them especially the new generation needs to be encouraged by making them aware of its importance from the very beginning. She stated that trees play an important role in environmental protection. Only if the environment remains good, all the people on this earth will ramine well and human civilization will also be protected. It is also our responsibility to protect the trees that provide us with fresh air which should be followed in every situation and it is also the demand and need of the hour. If we do not wake to the occasion on time, we will all cease to exist on this earth. So let us all come together to create green, beauty and environmental protection so that we can provide a golden future for the generations to come.
Environmental lover Shivam Kumar, students, Anand Ratan Maurya, Abhishek Tiwari, Arjun Kumar, Sovinda Kumar, Amar Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Indrajit Kumar, Priyanka Kumari, Chandani Kumari, Roma Kumari, Khushi Kumari, Priya Tiwari and others were present on the occasion and contributed their mite.
