DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAYA’S CHARACTER THOUGHT IS MOST NEEDED INDIANIZATION OF EDUCATION, LIVELIHOOD AND POLITICS IS NECESSARY—ACHARYA BHARAT BHUSHAN PANDEY

Ara: 108^th birth anniversary of the 10^th president of the Bharatiya Jansangh Mahamanishi Pandit Din Dayan Upadhyaya was organized by the District Working Committee of All India Jan Sangh at its office at Friend’s Colony under the presidentship of Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey, national president, All India Jan Sangh. A seminar on ‘Current Politics and Our Country’ was also organized to mark the occasion. The activists of the Jansangh paid homage by garlanding the portraits of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhayaya, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Balraj Madhok.

Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Bhaarat Bhushan Pandey said that in the present times, the form of political education and livelihood has become un-Indian. A few days ago, while discussing the heart-wrenching death of first year student due to ragging and misconduct in Jadavpur University and the incident of suicide of more than two dozen students in Kota, he said that education has devoid of its original purpose and form. He further said that due to dislocation in livelihood, directionlessness is growing in the society. Acharya said that the root of all this is politics. Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyaya paved the way for politics by keeping humanity and human interest at the centre  but today politics is done to disintegrate and mislead the society by keeping power and convenience at the centre. He stated that instead of criticizing the government, some people are seen opposing the national interest. He said that the fall for eradication of Sanatan is fascism and not a sense of pride in one’s culture and history and added that the standard of terrorism and world peace in the Western countries are as per their convenience. The terrorists who challenge the sovereignty of the Western countries are called terrorists while those who challenge the sovereignty of India become worthy of their mercy. He further said that the western countries cross all limits to eliminate the enemies of their countries but in case of attack on Indian interests, they come into the mode of preaching to India. He added that India on its own has been facing terrorism and anti-social activities for a long time. The public opinion of te country nurtures intense nationalism in times of opposition. Acharya said that purification of politics and Indianization of education and society is possible only through the humanistic thought of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyaya.

Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey further said that some people are trying to create anarchy in the country. Bad efforts are being made to tarnish its glorious culture and history. Mahanaishi Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyaya is the ideal and synonym of a dedicated life full of principle and simple character showing the path of Indian culture and political purity. He said that the involvement of eminent leaders in high position in corruption crime and dynasty politics and their help by others is the height of political decline. He stated that Jan Sangh will keep the lamp of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyayan’s ideals burning and will eliminate dynasty appeasement and criminalization with the ideas of intense nationalism.

Introducing the topic in the seminar, State President Jan Sangh Satyendra Narayan Singh said that those who raised slogans of bloody struggle and class struggle and imposed emergency on the country are today talking about fascism. He expressed happiness over the passing of Nari Shakti Vandan Act by the parliament. District President, Jan Sangh Akhileshwar Nath Tiwari said that despite all the obstacles, Jan Sangh is moving forward on the path of struggle.

State General Secretary, Jansangh Kumar Saurabh said that children are dying due to expensive education and anarchy. Akhileshwar Nath Tiwari conducted the programme while Madheshwar Nath Pandey extended vote of thanks.
