BHABHUA--------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants stabbed to death a CPI-ML leader at Itadhi village under Sonhan police station in Kaimur district when he had gone to the field to attend call of nature. The deceased was identified as Uday alias Azad Ram 50 son of Ramvriksh Ram of Itadhi police. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Tension prevails in and around the area following the incident. An FIR was lodged with the police under Sonhan police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Kaimur SP Hari Mohan Shukla, SDPO Shiv Shankar Kumar along with police force rushed to the spot and took information regarding the incident. The deceased was the member of the block committee of the CPI-ML.
SHO Sonhan police station said that Azad Ram had gone to the outskirt of Itadhi village to attend call of nature where some unidentified armed miscreants waylaid and stabbed him with knives at several places including face and head. The family members rushed him to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred him to the higher centre in precarious condition where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The SHO further said that the police detained a person for interrogation in this regard.
