One person was killed while another injured and a youth disappeared from the scene after two containers collided head-on near Tetaria Mor on Ara-Buxar main road under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district.

ARA-----------------------One person was killed while another injured and a youth disappeared from the scene after two containers collided head-on near Tetaria Mor on Ara-Buxar main road under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Police are trying to recover the youth. The deceased was identified as Pankaj 28 son of Parma Das of Tala village under Kanhai Hanumanganj police station of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. He was a cleaner of a container while the injured was identified as Md Raza 39 son of Shamim Akhatar of the same village. He is the driver of a container.
Md Raza said at the Ara Sadar Hospital said that he was going to Patna after loading goods from a factory in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He fell asleep near Buxar and his son Tauheed occupied the driving seat. It was raining heavily. Another container was parked in L side on the road near Tetaria Mor under Shahpur police station on Ara-Buxar main road. Tauheed could not know due to heavy rain and speculated that driver of the container was taking turn and when he reached near, he saw that the container was parked and in the haste, he lost balance and his container collided with the parked container in which Pankaj was injured and his son was thrown away from the container and since he was missing and his mobile is switched off. He rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital with Pankaj but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
In another incident, one driver was killed while another injured when two trucks collided head-on near Itawa village under Shahpur police station on Ara-Buxar main road. The police brought the deceased to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Ram Vilas Yadav 48 son of Dilram Yadav of Vazirmalpur village under Nizamabad police station while the injured was identified as Nand Lal Yadav son of Ramayan Yadav of Bhatani village under Maharajganj police station of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
Chandrashekhar Yadav, nephew of the deceased said that his uncle Ram Vilas Yadav along with his co-driver Nand Lal Yadav had come to the Sand ghat at Bihata village under Imadpur police station from Azamgarh with a truck to upload sand but the sand could not be uploaded and so they were returning Azamgarh with the empty truck and as they reached near Itawa village under Shahpur police station on Ara-Buxar main road, the driver of a truck going ahead of the truck abruptly stopped the truck and the truck coming from behind collided in which driver of both the trucks were injured. The police admitted both the injured in the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred Ram Vilas Yadav to Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition but he was taken to a private nursing home at Ara. When his condition deteriorated, the doctor referred him and the family members proceed to Varanasi but he succumbed to his injuries on way to Varanasi. The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
