ARA-----------------------One girl student met her watery grave at Dharmavati river near Gaura Bridge under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Khushi Kumari 17 daughter of Bihari Thakur of Gaura village under Bahoranpur police outpost. She was a student of Class X.
Mukhia, Gaura Panchayat Manoj Kumar Thakur said that Khushi Kumari along with her grandmother had gone to the Dharmavati river to immersion of flowers where she slept and drowned into the river. Her grandmother informed about the incident. On information, family members, villagers, Shahpur CO and the Bahoranpur police rushed to the spot. The CO requisitioned a team of SDRF that after much effort fished out the body. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
