Activists of the All India Student Association (AISA) and the Revolutionary Youth Association (RYA) greeted the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with black flag near Siarua village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district when he came here during his ‘Pragati Yatra’. The agitating people also had to scuffle with the police in which Sahil Arora was injured and was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. Later the police detained at least one dozen activists. The activists said that they were trying to give their 13-point charter of demands to the Chief Minister but the security personnel prevented them.

Elaborate security arrangement was made by the Bhojpur district administration in view of the Pragati Yatra of the Chief Minister and the entire the route from Ramana Maidan to Kakila village was cordoned off despite the fact that the programme of the Chief Minister was scheduled at Kakila village about 28 kilometer from the Bhojpur district headquarters. Even the locals were not allowed to move as the gate of the locality was locked. Bhojpur DM Tanay Sultaniya banned entry of common people in the Ramana Maidan from February 15, 2025 till the departure of the Chief Minister on February 16, 2025 for security of the helipad though it was made inside the stadium. As a result patients faced a lot of problems in going to the Ara Sadar Hospital and other private nursing home for about four hours. At least 111 magistrates at Jagdishpur Sub-division, 80 magistrates at Ara Sub-division besides 16 additional magistrates along with heavy police force and police officials were deputed in view of the Pragati Yatra of the Chief Minister
The Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with the Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, Minister Vijay Chaudhary and Sumit Kumar arrived at Kakila village of Jagdishpur block in Bhojpur district and laid foundation stones and inaugurated 307 schemes worth about Rs. 406.56 crore. He inaugurated 145 schemes worth about Rs. 165.84 crore including the 11 KV dedicated feeder, newly constructed health Sub-Centre, Kitchen of Jivika Didi and other development schemes in Bhojpur district through remote from the campus of Government Polytechnic College today. The CM also inspected and inaugurated the Health and Wellness Centre, Jivika Building, Panchayat Sarkar Building, Hospital and Sir Shivsagar Ram Gulam +2 school at Harigaon. The CM also inspected and inaugurated schemes at Harigaon. The CM met the family members of the Sri Shivsagar Ram Gulam and returned Ara. He laid foundation stones of 162 schemes worth about Rs. 240.72 crore.
