Ara (RNI) National President, All India Jan Sangh, Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey expressed deep condolence on the untimely demise of a retired IAS officer of Bihar Cadre, Dr. Chandragupta Ashok Vardhan and said that he was a multidimensional talented personality in the field of education, literature and administration. Before becoming an administrative officer, he was a professor and after becoming an administrative officer, he continued to practice and create literature. He was a polyglot and used to write beautiful poems in Hindi and English. He also had deep knowledge of Sanskrit literature.
Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that he was the eldest son of a famous litterateur and Professor at H D Jain College, Ara, Prof. Rameshwar Nath Tiwari. After retiring from administrative service, he was serving as a member of the Land Reform Tribunal. His untimely demise has created a vacuum in the field of education, literature and administration. He added that the Jan Sangh expressed its deepest condolences to the bereaved families and paid tribute to the departed soul.
On the other hand, under the banner of Bhojpur Hindi Sahitya Sammelann, a condolence meeting was organized under the presidentship of Prof. Baliraj Thakur, district president of the Bhojpur Hindi Sahitya Sammelan and floral tributes were paid to the departed soul.
Former Vice-Chancellor, Jai Prakash University, Prof. Durg Vijay Singh said that Chandragupta Ashok Vardhan had participated in Jai Prakash Narayan’s movement during his student days. Like his literary father, Prof. Rameshwar Nath Tiwari, he was a personality engaged in simple living and high literary practice. Prof Balraj Thakur said that the sudden demise of Chandragupta Ashok Vardhan has created an irreparable void. Along with being an administrative officer, he was also an educationist and a skilled writer. Many of his works are famous and notable. He, a product of the fertile land of Ara, was known as a brilliant and honest officer.
Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that he efficiently discharged his responsibility as Principal Secretary of Education, Parliamentary Affairs Department and Revenue and Land Reforms Department, member of Revenue Board and Director General of Consolidation etc. he was an expert in land reform and after retirement, he was serving as a member of the Land Reform Tribunal. Prof. Nandji Dubey, Prof. Ayodhya Prasad, Prof. Diwakar Pandey, Prof. Mahesh Singh, Shivdas Singh, critic Jitendra Kumar, poet Janardan Mishra, Prof. Pushpa Dwivedi, Dr. Mamta Mishra, Madhu Mishra, Dr. Renu Mishra, Dr. Satyanarayan Upadhyay, Madheshwar Nath. Pandey, advocate Satyendra Narayan Singh, poet Alakh Anari, Vishwanath Dubey, Narmadeshwar Upadhyay, Amar Nath Tiwari, Kumar Saurabh, Senator Santosh Tiwari etc. paid heartfelt tribute to the departed soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family
