BUXAR POLICE ARRESTED FOUR MISCREANTS FOR MURDER AND ALSO SEIZED FIREARMS

BUXAR-----------------------------Buxar police arrested four miscreants and recovered a country made pistol and three live cartridges from their possession. The police arrested them in connection with murder of a person at Sarimpur village under Industrial police station in Buxar district. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

SDPO, Buxar Dheeraj Kumar said that some armed miscreants had shot at and injured a youth Sonu Sah alias Mazahar Sah from point blank range at Badaki Sarimpur village under Industrial police station in Buxar district July 9, 2024. The injured was admitted to the Buxar Sadar Hospital in precarious condition but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment on July 11, 2024. Khalid Sah father of the deceased had lodged an FIR with the police under Industrial police station against two persons. After institution of FIR, Buxar SP Manish Kumar formed a police team under the Buxar SDPO. The police team following the scientific and other evidences conducted raids at several places to arrest the miscreants. Meanwhile, the police arrested Tausif Khan alias Raja son of Riyaz Khan, Arif Khan alias Puli son of Ekrar Khan, Mumtaz Khan son of Muslim Khan from Sarimpur village. During interrogation, all the arrested miscreants confessed their involvement in the murder. They also told the police they had given the arms and cartridges used in the murder to Amrit Thakur to hide them, On their revelation, the police conducted raid at the house of Amrit Thakur and seized one country made pistol and three live cartridges kept in a suitcase. The police arrested Amrit Thakur son of Sanjay Thakur.

The SDPO said that Sonu Sah alias Mazahar Sah was in love with the sister of Mumtaz Khan who tried to admonish Sonu Sah via Tausif Khan alias Raja but Sonu Sah continued to talk to his beloved. In July 9, 2024, Arif Khan alias Puli shot at and injured Sonu Sah from point blank range and escaped from the scene.
