BUXAR POLICE ARRESTED FATHER AND HIS SON FOR THE MURDER OF A TEENAGE GIRL

Buxar (RNI) Buxar police arrested father and brother and sent them to jail after interrogation in connection with murder of a teenage girl. The arrested persons were identified as Ramesh Yadav alias Kallu Yadav and his son Karan Kumar of Daulatpur Shubhankaranganj under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. They lived in a rented house at Jaso village under Buxar Muffassil police station.

Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that the police had recovered body of a teenage girl from near a canal in front of Divyalok Hospital under Buxar town police station in January 19, 2024 and the deceased was not identified at that time. An FIR was lodged with the police under Buxar town police station in this regard. He formed a police team under the town SDPO. The police started investigating the matter on the basis of technical and other evidences and knew about the deceased in detail and arrested her father and brother and sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested duo confessed before the police that girl always chat on mobile and when they forbade her to do so, she committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of the house. Afraid of her suicide, they wrapped her body in a blanket and threw it on the bank of the canal and escaped from the spot.
