BUXAR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS AND SEIZED FIREARMS

BUXAR------------------------Buxar police arrested two miscreants in connection with loot of Rs. 3.5 lakh from a Customer Service Provider (CSP) and killing a villager at Sowa village under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district on September 14, 2023 and heaved a sigh of relief. The police a country made pistol used in the murder, one pistol, three live cartridges, motorcycle, laptop and also Rs.5000 in cash cash from their possession. The arrested miscreants were identified as Rahul Upadhyaya son of Ghanshyam Upadhyaya of Gosaipur village under Buxar Muffassil police station and Sonu Kumar alias Roushan Kumar son of Ramesh Kumar of Sugar Mill in Buxar district.

Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that on September 14, 2023, motorcycle borne two armed miscreants, at the behest of a jail bird, Pali alias Seraz Sddiqui, shot at and injured a CSP Manoj Yadav son of Raja Ram Yadav at Sowa village under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district when he returning home at Gharauli village after closing the CSP and snatched Rs. 3.5 lakh from him. Manoj Yadav raised alarm. Hearing his cry a youth Sonu Yadav 18 who was walking at some distance came to his rescue and caught a miscreant. The miscreant pumped a bullet into his mouth in his bid to free himself and killed him on spot and escaped from the scene. An FIR was lodged with the police under Krishnabrahm police station in this regard. The police on the basis of scientific and technical researches arrested two miscreants from near Harkhai Mathia Railway crossing who have criminal history. The arrested miscreants admitted their involvement in the loot and murder.

The SP further said that during interrogation, the arrested miscreants revealed that they had given the looted money to a youth of Uttar Pradesh at the instruction of Buxar jail inmate Pali alias Seraj Siddiqui to buy a Scorpio. They further revealed that they had to commit a big loot incident with the Scorpio and added that they had to loot a CSP bank at Mathia under Koransarai police station
