BUXAR POLICE ARREST TWO DRUG PEDDLERS, SEIZE 69 KILOGRAM OF GANJA AND Rs. 6.5 LAKH

Buxar, 25 April 2023, (RNI): Buxar police with the help of their Rohtas counterpart arrested two drug peddlers and seized 69 kilogram of ganja and Rs. 6.5 lakh in cash. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Sanjay Kumar of Mishrawalia village in Buxar district and Shiv Ji Yadav alias Yadav Ji of Dinara under the same police station in Rohtas district. An FIR has been lodged with the police and the Buxar police sent Sanjay Kumar of Mishrawalia to Buxar jail while the police handed over Shiv Ji Yadav alias Yadav Ji and seized 67 kilogram of ganaja and Rs. 6.5 lakh in cash to Rohtas police.

Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that he got information that ganja  was being sold from a grocery shop at Mishrawalia village under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district. The police at once conducted raid and arrested Sanjay Kumar from Mishrawalia village and seized 2 kilogram of ganja from his shop. During interrogation, Sanjay Kumar revealed that he had purchased the ganja from Dinara Bazaar under Dinara police station in Rohtas district. On his revelation, the Buxar police with the help of their Rohtas counterpart conducted raid at Dinara Bazaar and arrested Shiv Ji Yadav alias Yadav Ji and recovered 67 kilogram of ganja and Rs. 6.5 lakh from him. The SP stated that the police sent Sanjay Kumar to Buxar jail while handed over Shiv Ji Yadav alias Yadav Ji arrested from Dinara Bazaar and 67 kilogram of ganja and Rs. 6.5 lakh to Rohtas police.
