BUXAR POLICE ARREST THREE GAMBLERS

BUXAR------------------------------Buxar police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at Shantinagar Bypass Bridge under Buxar Town police station and arrested three gamblers and seized Rs. 6080 in cash and cards from them. The arrested gamblers were identified as Vishwakarma Kumar, Chand Hussain and Chhataki Kumar of Shantinagar locality. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Buxar town police station in this regard and the police sent them to jail.

SHO Buxar town police station Mukesh Kumar said that he got information that gambling racket was being run at some places in Buxar under the same police station. The police at once swung into action and conducted raid near Shantinagar Bypass Bridge and arrested three gamblers red handed and recovered Rs. 6080 in cash and cards from them though some gamblers escaped from the scene.
