BUXAR POLICE ARREST SIX MISCREANTS WITH CACHE OF ARMS AND AMMUNITION

BUXAR-------------------------With the announcement of parliamentary election, Buxar police are on alert mode and arrested six miscreants and seized three rifles, a one barrel gun, 58 live cartridges, two blank cartridges and a Scorpio during a vehicle checking drive under Bagen Tola police station in Buxar district. The arrested miscreants were identified as Santosh Kumar Singh of Chakia Tola under Dhansoi police station, Jairam Ram of Nawa under Dinara police station in Rohtas district, Satyendra Singh  of Kakaria village under Dhansoi police station, Sudama Singh of Chamila village and Pramod Kumar of Dhasa under Dinara police station and Shakti Kumar of Kathrai village under Dhansoi police station. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Bagen Tola police station against the arrested persons and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that he got information that some persons were coming in a Scorpio with illegal firearms from Murar police station direction and so formed a police team under the Dumrao SDPO. The police team launched an intensive vehicle checking drive at Fafdar Mor. During checking, a white colour Scorpio bearing registration number BRO3PA7387 with six persons in it came. The police intercepted the vehicle and when checked, the police recovered three rifles of .315 caliber, a one barrel gun of 12 caliber, 58 live cartridges and two blank cartridges. During interrogation, Satyendra Kumar said that a rifle of 0315 caliber is registered in his name which license number is 505/05 and Jairam Ram said that one rifle of .315 bore in registered in his name and its license number is 1532/1982 but they could not produce any papers regarding the rest two firearms.
