BUXAR POLICE ARREST SIX HUMAN TRAFFICKERS, FREE A YOUTH GIRL

Buxar, 28 May 2023, (RNI): Buxar police busted a gang of human traffickers and six of members of the gang. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The police freed a woman from their clutch and handed her over to her family members.

Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that members of human traffickers came in contact with a lady of a village under Itadhi police station area in Buxar district and trapped her with a promise to make Youtube videos. Later a member forcibly married her and compelled her to company with him but the lady raised alarm. At this the mother of the lady informed the police. On information, the police formed a police team and seized a Bolero bearing registration number of Rajasthan and recovered the lady from the Bolero and arrested five members of the human traffickers. During interrogation, they told the police that a person of Sikraul village sold the lady to them on payment. On their revelation, the police conducted raid and arrested one more member of the gang. Four of the arrested human traffickers are from Rajasthan, one from Balia in Uttar Pradesh and one from a village under Sikraul police station in Buxar district. The SP stated that the police are conducting raids to arrest the rest members of the gang and added that the gang trap young girls and sell them out in other states.
