BUXAR POLICE ARREST FORMER MINISTER

BUXAR--------------------------Buxar police arrested the former minister, Chhedi Paswan from Basantpur Cantonment area under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. The police also seized a rifle and some live cartridges from the car of the former minister. Chhedi Paswan is the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former minister. He is alleged of possession of disputed land.

Buxar SDPO Dhiraj Kumar said that Ganesh Chaubey and Hazaroo Chaubey of Basantpur Cantonment area under Rajpur police station have long standing enmity over a piece of land and the former minister Chhedi Paswan along with his aides had gone to the disputed land in support of a group and forced the other party to budge from the land. Meanwhile, someone informed the police. Later the police rushed to the spot and arrested all the persons including the former minister Chhedi Paswan. The police also seized the car of the former minister and recovered a rifle and some live cartridges from the car. The SDPO himself is interrogating all the arrested persons including the former minister.
