BUXAR POLICE ARREST FIVE BIKE LIFTERS, SEIZED FIVE MOTORCYCLES, COUNTRYMADE PISTOL AND LIVE CARTRIDGE

Buxar, 22 March 2023, (RNI): Buxar police arrested five members of bike lifter gang and seized five looted motorcycles, one country made pistol and a live cartridge and two mobiles. Police are conducting raids to arrest other members of the bike lifter gang on the revelation of the arrested members. Later the police sent them to the jail after interrogation.

Dumraon SDPO Sriraj said that he got information that some miscreants had assembled at the railway station and were hatching plan to commit crime. He at once swung into action and the police conducted raid there and arrested Deepak Kumar and seized a country made pistol, a live cartridge and a motorcycle from his possession though her other aides escaped from the scene. During interrogation, Deepak Kumar revealed names of his associates and the police on his revelation arrested Sachin Kesari, Pintu Singh, Suraj Kumar and Adil Khan of Buxar district.

The SDPO said that one motorcycle and a mobile was looted from the area under Dumraon police station on February 27, 2023 and a motorcycle and a mobile were also looted from Bagen Gola police station on February 18, 2023 and on October 14, 2022, a motorcycle was looted under Sandesh police station area in Bhojpur district and motorcycles were looted from Dhanbad Bank Mod police station in Jharkhand on May 3, 2022 and February 20, 2023.
