BUXAR POLICE ARREST AN AWARDEE OF Rs. 15000

BUXAR (RNI) Buxar police arrested a miscreant bearing an award of Rs. 15000 on his head and sent him to jail after interrogation. The miscreant was identified as Akhilesh Chaudhary alias Praveen Raj son of Dudhnath Chaudhary Nakhwal village under Piro police station area in Bhojpur district and he is counted among top 10 miscreant of the district.

BuxarSP Manish Kumar said that the police had recovered body of a woman from the outskirt of Rohini Ban village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district on February 19, 2024. During investigation, the police Akhilesh Chaudhary alias Praveen Raj had killed the woman and threw the body at the outskirt of the village to erase evidence and since he was absconding. Police were conducting raids to arrest him and the Buxar police announced an award of Rs. 15000 on his head. Meanwhile, the Buxar police got information that Akhilesh Chaudhary alias Praveen Raj was seen. After that a police team was formed under the DSP Dheeraj Kumar and the police team arrested Akhilesh Chaudhary alias Praveen Raj from near Sarenja Mor and sent him to jail after interrogation.
