BUXAR ADJ AWARDS 20 YEARS RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT TO ONE AND SLAPPED A FINE OF Rs. 2 LAKH ON HIM FOR SODOMISING A MINOR BOY

BUXAR------------------------Additional District and Session Judge cum special court of Protection of Children from Sexual Offices (POCSO), Buxar Civil Court, Man Kameshwar Choubey awarded rigorous 20 years imprisonment to a person in connection with sodomized a minor boy and also slapped a fine of Rs. 2 lakh on him.

Public Prosecutor, Suresh Prasad Singh said that when an eight year old minor boy of Brahmpur village under the same police station in Buxar district  was returning home from the market on February 25, 2017, Shiv Jee Bari of the village decoyed him and took him to his house where sodomized him. The accused also gave him Rs. 50 and forbade him to say anything regarding the incident to anyone. When the boy returned home, he narrated his woes to his family members. At this his family members lodged a named FIR against Shiv Jee Bari in connection with sodomizing the boy. The also submitted the chargesheet in this regard.

After hearing both the parties, the ADJ convicted Shiv Jee Bari and awarded 20 years rigorous imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on him. The court also awarded 10 years rigorous imprisonment to him and also slapped a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on him. Both the punishments will go simultaneously.
